Can I swap Suntour cages to make a GT?
I have one of each of these below.
Here is a link to the legitimate version of the MKII.
SunTour Cyclone Mark-II GT derailleur (3700)
The cages of the Blue Line and Cyclone GT's look similar, but not identical, so I'm not sure if they'll work. I've disassembled and reassembled derailleurs before, so I am happy to do this if I'm confident it will work, but just wondering if anyone can tell me before I launch into trial and error.
Thanks so much...

And a Blue Line GT:
SunTour BL GT black derailleur (3300)
Do you know if it is possible to swap the cages of these two so I can give myself a long-cage version of the Cyclone MKII?SunTour Cyclone Mark-II derailleur (3500)
And a Blue Line GT:

The Cyclone M-II GT and Blue Line cages both attach to the derailleur body at the upper pulley axle. If I'm looking at my M-II GT correctly, the cage is mounted to the body with a hollow bolt and the pulley axle is a smaller-diameter bolt that runs through the hollow bolt. The Blue Line may have a similar setup. The short cage M-II's cage doesn't attach at the pulley axle, so its pivot bolt likely isn't hollow with a threaded center like the M-II GT's.
So to move the Blue Line cage over to your short cage M-II, you'd need to take the cage pivot bolt along with it. If the Blue Line's pivot bolt will fit your M-II's body, it might work.
