I've got a '98 K2 Beast, with the Noleen Chubby LT fork (its the one that says Proflex on the swing-arm). It makes a lot of noise when I climb. The tougher the climb, the more noise the bike makes. I talked to a guy at my lbs, he told me to take a look at the swing-arm mount and the bottom bracket. But the pivot point for the swing arm doesn't seem like the logical place to me because the bike only makes noise when I climb. It's quiet as can be on rough descents. Seems like a noisy swing-arm pivot would be just as noisy going downhill as going up. My worst fear is that the frame is faulty and one day its going to just snap. I don't have any good reason to believe this, just paranoia. Anybody out there have much experience with these bikes?
