Missing Eyelet

I was replacing the rear rim on my bike, when I discovered, that it had a missing eyelet! I've already trued the wheel, and don't want to start all over, so, can anyone tell me, is there a workaround to this? Can I use the rim with the missing eyelet? It seems to hold the nipple fine, but I'm not sure that the rim is strong enough...

I guess all the wheels that I own without eyelets are a disaster waiting to happen, then.

Well, I just took a little bit of tension off that spoke, and re-trued the wheel. All is good...
