On the occasion of those pictures, the change was that I opened up the calipers and topped off the mineral oil reserves. It turned out to be a temporary fix that eventually caused other problems, but the "after" picture is representative of how things looked for me after I got warranty replacement calipers from TRP.

I recall that thread... I know I have the revised HY/RD's so I shouldn't have to pull the cover. In any case they work fine but given a reasonable solution I would reduce the lever throw.
