Reinstalled BB, now Fr. deraill. is way off
I am at my wit's end. I removed my bottom bracket to do some maintenance, like I've done dozens of times (first time on this bike). Replaced it, put on the crank and the derailleur does not go to the highest chain ring (outside). I removed everything checked to see that right was right (the longer side of the axle) and still the same problem.
I didn't touch the derailleur doing this operation.
The derailleur is Deore, the Crank is a Prowheel double and BB is unknown (Sealed, tapered), all on a fat bike. The adjust screw for low is at it's highest, the cable has no slack.
Even on the small ring and on the lowest cog on rear, it is no where near the inside of the fr derailleur cage
Has anyone had this problem?
Any solutions?

The bottom bracket shaft is probably reversed. More than likely the shaft has an offset on one side which makes one crank arm sit farther out than the other side. Take it back off and flip it over to the other side.

How tight did you get the crankarm fixing bolt? 30-50 Nm is the usual spec.

You have obviously not put the sealed BB in wrong way, was there any spacers there before you have missed.
Do I understand you are saying that the crank has not gone on the taper far enough ?
A couple of good photos might help with further suggestions

Well, that's what happened. I don't know how. I usually keep track of what goes where. And I even measured, to be sure the longer end was on the crank side. Now, I feel like a newbie.

I'm not sure how a sealed bottom bracket can be installed backwards. The threads need to match the side of the frame. Are both cups on this sealed unit removable? That's the only way I can imagine a sealed unit going in backwards.

I did the same thing on my PX-10. It shifted fine, but I kept noticing this weird sound like the chain was dragging on the FD. I kept feathering the shifter while riding and staring at it, and I could tell the chain was centered in the cage, so it shouldn't be dragging. Turned out the chain ring was scraping the chainstay. I was positive I'd taken it out and kept it in the right position when re-installing.
