Need info / Cannondale Six13 Seat Post Size....etc...etc
Hi,
Forgive me for my Bicycling ignorance if some thing sounds stupid and if I am asking too much.
On the Six13 I need the following things:
Seat Post size: 27.0mm or 31.6mm
Stem size: 80-140mm (I guess that depends on the headset)
Fork size: 1" or 1 1/8"
For the sake of these questions I will not be doing any racing just riding on the street (if that makes a diff). I just like to go fast and want to build a fast bike.
Should I go with 26.0mm Bars or 31.8 mm?
How do I determine the width of the Bars I need 40, 42, 44mm
I will let that be it for now. Thanks in advance.
Jeff

Bars are determined by the width of your shoulders... you want to have bars at least as wide as your shoulders, and I try to add 2cm where possible for improved front end stability and better breathing. 31.8 bars require a stem with a 31.8 clamp. Stem depends entirely on your reach. The fork size is 1 1/8" I believe.
