does it work on non-tufo tyres?

but you also need a tube with a removable valve core. It should at
least slow down a leak on another tire. My only leaks on a Tufo have
been stem related. Make sure they are tighten snug, but don't over do it.
I snapped one and killed a tire being too rough.

FWIW unlike most tubulars,tuffos don't have a seprate tube in them. Not sure how the sealant would work in a "tubed" tubular. Maybe slime would work better in your situation?
