weird valve on my bike
hey ive just got bike given to me that has valves i have never seen before ive drew the valve with paint so u can trey and identify it for me as ive not got a clue i tried a presta pump but it never worked so any help would be greatly appreiciated

is it all threaded and you can take off that screw top. I think it's a german valve and I use a presta to shrader valve converter to inflate those. The small threaded ones.

yeah the cap screws off and u can take that needle outi tried using a schrader pump to pump it up and quickly taking the pump off and putting that pin in but i lost too much air

ah great yeah its a woods valve cheers for the help as for the drawing i allways use ms paint to draw things when im bored so ive become rather good at it lol thanks again

Now I am absolutly sure that I am geting old. That's a Dunlop valve. Until the montain bicycle boom those were the most common valves in cheap model bicycles. Schrader valves were exclusive for cars and motorcycles, lories, etc, etc. Presta valves wefre used in top road bicycles. At least it was like this way in Europe until mid-late 80īs.
