help with Bottom Bracket installation
ok, so I searched and found some others with this problem, but did not really understand the solutions offered.
here is the problem, i am installing a race face, cartridge bb. as i tighten it down, the spindle binds up and becomes hard to spin. i installed it by threading in the non drive cup 3-4 turns, then tightening the drive side snug, and then tightening the non-drive snug. then, the spindle becomes too tight with the non-drive cup not completely threaded in, it spins freely. could someone please offer me some advice. much appreciated! |

Don't under estimate the importance of using the right torque on the bottom bracket. Find the specs and use a torque wrench or you will have more problems.
