    Brakes clamp unevenly

I have a new set of brakes and they do not clam evenly. That is, one of the pads hits the rim at an angle. The angle is slight and the pad eventually presses against the rim evenly with a tad bit more pressure from the levers. It was notices by a LBS sales guy and he told me that older brakes could be bent to the right angle but was not sure about newer ones. The tool guy was out for the day and has work for weeks.

    Can the angle be corrected?
    How?
    Tool for the job?

It looks like Pad Toeing http://www.parktool.com/repair_help/howfix_cant.shtml. It seems like its not a problem I should stress about.
