Raceface Dues Crankarm space
I have a little space between the non drive side crank arm and the BB. Is this normal or and I missing a spacer?
I have a 73mm BB so I am using one 2.5mm silver spacer on the drive side and that is it.... (per the instructions)
Am I missing a spacer on the crank arm?
And just before anyone asks...There is no side to side play and no play really at all. The cranks spin well and nothing seems to be too tight or too loose. It just struck me as a little odd when I was looking at the bike from underneith.
The crank bolt is bottomed out at around 575inch pounds. I followed the directions for a 49mm chainline I believe. Which I think involves a 3mm preload ring and one 1mm spacer on the non drive side and 1mm spacer on the drive side.
I just want to make sure I'm not missing anything and I'm going to let a lot of gunk into the BB area. Especially since I did the install myself and I have heard from some people that Raceface can get a little hard to deal with for warranty issues if you don't get a shop to do the install for you.
Thanks for all the help!!

You said you wanted a 49mm chainline. Race Face suggests that you have 1 spacerseal on the driveside, AND 1 spacerseal on the nondrive side to achieve this.
So ya, you did it correctly. I guess if the space really bothers you, try taking out the 3mm quad ring and replace it with the 2.5mm ring (supplied) and see if there is any side to side play
