Cranks noises
Wow...I haven't been around in a while and now there are so many people! Because of this, I expect a pronto response!
Anyway, I'm wondering why my cranks are making some loud noises. I have tightened them down and it does not help the problem. Every time I am out of the saddle, there is a creaking from each crank as I push that side down. It sounds as though they are loose, but that can't be the case since I've made sure they're tight. Any ideas as to what the noise could be coming from and possible solutions?
Thanks,
velo

May well be the bottom bracket. Check that the cups are REALLY tight. Lube the threads or use teflon tape.
