Redline front brakes
Hey guys john here. I got a redline and I just put some tektros on it. They don't stop too well in the front only because i think the pads might suck.like i tink they are not grabbing the rim all that well. I was looking for and upgrade in my brake pads thanks, John.

Hi John--check your adjustment. Are you bottoming out the lever? Is the lever really tight? You should be able to squeeze the lever until it gets about an inch away from the bars, amybe a little less. (These are caliper brakes, right?)
That said, Kool stop salmon pads work quite well--but only when the brakes they grace are well adjusted.
