Vintage Campy grease - Lithium? Ok?

Hi,

I have been following the thread on 'car grease' but I did not wanted to hijack it with my questions.

Campy grease, the old style, tan in color from the 70's and 80's, what is it? Is it just a light lithium grease?

I have a quart size tub that I bought in 1983 and it looks and feels the same as when I bought it. Good grease to use? Opinions?

Thanks

It hasn't seperated? I would use it. If you have had it since '83 and not run out you might need to use it more.
