What can I upgrade on TREK 800

Do any of you have experance up grading this bike? What would be some reasonable upgrades that you would look at. I'm going to have to do something about the brakes right away. What would you suggest?

I have '95 800 and so far have just upgraded the seat and replaced the shifters due to a crash...I am planning on getting a shock front fork...(sorry no experience with the brakes, though)...

It sure is not worth putting serious money into. Brake pads, maybe new cables and casing grips and saddle, in addition to a general cleaning and tuneup.

Gotta agree with Pokey here...by the time you spend much $$$ on upgrades you could get a much better true MTB bike...
