What lube for pulley bushings ??

Acquired a Shimano 600 r.d. but the pulleys are stiff. What's the best lubricant for the bushings?
    Thanks.

I use grease too, Park Polylube to be specific.

I was looking on Park's website, and they recommend a light weight lubricant, like their chain lube.

Take them off and clean them with some degreaser. Often, stiffness is caused by chunks of grease and dirt that have accumulated on the sides of the pulleys. After I clean mine I loosen the bearings up with some Tri-flow, then give them a squirt of Polylube. I don't trust the thin lubes to stand up of long periods of time, and heavy grease slows them down too much. The mix of the two acheives the viscosity I like.
