This is really hard to explain. When I am in the large chain ring on my bike and I put a lot of torque, the pedalling feels a "little rough". I can't hear anything but I can feel it in my feet. Mostly my right foot. Its a new (2 weeks old) specialized sirrus elite. I'm not cross chaining, and everything is well lubed. Some info that might be relavent:
FRONT DERAILLEUR Shimano Deore, 31.8 clamp, bottom pull
REAR DERAILLEUR Shimano Tiagra
CASSETTE SRAM PG-850, 8-speed, 12x26t
CRANKSET RPM Compact, five arm, polished
CHAINRINGS 50Ax34S Hypershift
Anyone have any ideas? I know its a vague explanation, but I appreciate any help.

Ideas:
1. derailleur/indexed shifting slightly out of adjustment so the chain only rubs a little when you twist the bottom bracket/cranks with high pedal load
2. cranks not tightened to spec, check with a torque wrench

I followed the park tools website when adjusting the RD,
"Once a too-tight rattle is achieved, turn barrel adjuster 1/4 turn clockwise, to release inner wire tension, and pedal again. Listen and look for signs of scraping or rattling. Continue turning barrel adjuster 1/4 turn clockwise at a time until rattle disappears."
But since everything is so new it is hard to hear the rattle. Maybe the wire tension is a little tight. I will try and loosen it a little and see how it goes. Thanks!
If this doesn't work, I have to head to the LBS this weekend so I will get them to check the crank-bolt torque as I don't have a rench.
