cannondale fork repair
is it possible to repair the headshok fork fatty m by replacing the spiral or to replace the fork with the fatty dl?
where can i find a cheap used fatty dl fork?

Headshocks can be serviced. They require a couple of specific to the shock tools. So you might want to find someone familiar with them to take a look at it before spending the money to try and fix it.

If this is your first time working on a fork I would suggest that you not. The headshocks are very easy to work on (if you have done them before) but also very easy to ruin. I would suggest taking it to a shop that is willing to let you watch and/or pitch in. I have overhauled and rebuilt many a headshok that were messed up by the unskilled. It's great that you want to learn, I would suggest that you do it with a teacher in this case. If you want to swap the whole unit out with a Fatty DL you can, but it will cost you some cash. That's as simple as knocking out the old headshock and knocking in the new one. The entire unit is built into a sleeve to swapping them is easy.

If I recall correctly, the poster is in a country where access to proprietary tools or a Cannondale dealer is pretty limited. Whatever route he takes will not be cheap.
