Using fork in inegrated headset setup
Can i use a 'normal' fork in an integrated headset frame? Special spacers or such needed?

Yep.
Or at least i've never had a problem running my SID in my homegrown frame, which takes an ICBM headset. Somebody else care to chime in?

It works but on the road bikes it can look a little odd if the fork was not intended to match the frame. When they are intended to work together, there is a smooth flow from the fork to the headtube. When it is not there is this big gap, does not hurt anything, just looks a little odd. On the birght side you cannot see it in the saddle.

Interesting. Ever seen anyone do the opposite? Use an integrated fork in a normal threadless headset?

I have not seen that. You might get some interference if the frame had the right shape and the flare on the fork were wide enough. It would look really weird for sure.
