Brooks breaking in unevenly!!!

My new brooks is breaking in nicely--but only on the left side! The leather on the left is getting pliant and supple. Riding my bike is now more of a joy than it ever was. It is sooooooooo comfortable, and I dont feel as though I am compromising my fertility or manliness when I ride a bike anymore. But the left side is softer than the right! DOes this mean that I sit unevenly (likely, leftover habit from the nasty-saddle days) or is it just a snafu in the brooks-making process?

Its feasible you push more with one leg than the other, I don't know if its enough to warrant a saddle being noticeably more broken-in on one side than the other though. Maybe try retensioning the saddle a bit?

I'm afraid you're just a half-assed bicyclist. Seriously: re-tensioning it would be the worst thing you could do. It's new, it's comfortable.......it'll only get better with time-

It means nothing. I have 3 Brooks B17's. They have all broken in differently. One is more to the left, the other more to the right. The newer one still appears pretty even. Forget about it and ride. I highly disagree that this is a result of anything you are doing.
