I just purchase a second hand Wrench Force repair stand. I'm not sure if the clamp is working correctly. The jaws of the clamp do not appear to clamp tight to one another. There appears to be some play there. When I try to clamp the seatpost, it does not seem to clamp it tightly, as it the clamp is too big for the tube. Unfortunately, I have no manual with it. I emailed Trek (I believe they now own Wrench Force) to inquire about getting the manual, but am not too hopeful. There is a wheel adjustor which I beleive is to adjust the clamp pressure, but it does not appear to move it that much.
Does anyone have any experience with these? Any pointers/suggestions would be great!

"Wrench Force" is Trek's name for their line of tools.
The Wrench Force repair stand was made by the makers of the current "Ultimate Pro" stands and was private labeled for Trek.
On mine, the clamp is tightened with a relatively small knob. If you back off the knob a turn or two, the outer jaw will slide freely. Once you put a tube or the seat post into the clamp, you have to slide the outer jaw in by hand until it makes contact. Then tightening the knob will apply firm clamping force.
