Front Deraileur

Hi,
Newbie question.....

Should the front deraileur (sora) spring back from the big ring to the small ring when there is no tension in the cable?
Mine isn't doing and I'm wondering if there is a spring broke somewhere?

All the best

Yep, if the adjusters are screwed out far enough. Could need a good cleaning and lube. OHB

Thanks OHB

I took it off the bike and it took me about an hour with various degreasers and lubes but I've got it working again.

Thanks once again for taking the time to answer my question.
