Too much pork for just one fork...

Have bought a Pedal Force CF frame that has a '...head tube for 1-1/8" Campagnolo compatible integrated headset.'

Had to ditch plan to use fork from a parts bike as the steering column was cut too short for the PF head tube....

Performance has a Ritchey Pro Carbon fork for 54% off ($114) that I'd like to use....

The Ritchy fork is 1-1/8", the steering column is plenty long, but am not sure if the Ritchey's 44mm crown shoulder is an issue.

PF sells their branded carbon fork ($149) that another BF member has used on the same frame. The PF fork has a 45mm crown shoulder, which got me to wondering if that 1mm difference = trouble if I go with the Ritchey fork.

And if my pea-sized brain wasn't already overtaxed by these relatively new issues, the product description for the FSA Orbit CE headset (Campy compatible) that I THINK will work on this setup contains this info: '...TH brand 45/45 degree hybrid ACB bearings (yellow seal)' which makes me wonder if one of those '45's refers to the size/fit of the crown shoulder?

Let me end before my head explodes. Thanks in advance if anyone can straighten me out. Cheers.

BTW, I'll buy a Coke for anyone who knows the 'Too much pork/fork' reference in the thread title...

I can't help with the problem, but lordy, lordy, if you'll put your teeth up on the windowsill, we can walk like a camel to ride in a voodoo cadillac to pick up an eight piece box to take on a dirt track date 'cause we're goin' doublewide. Just don't let that greenback fly get liquored up and laquered down. As for the coke, make Mayan a Hawaiian.
