I just bought a Campy Centaur 10 speed crank. I know its a cheesy reason to make the purchase, but the new Centaur "Century" grey is an exact match with the titanium look anodizing on my Sakae Prism frame.
I have ordered .4 spacers (from Branford bike) to allow the use of 9 speed chain. My worry, however, is that the 9 speed chain won't be compatible with my 6 speed Megarange freewheel. Any thoughts on potential problems?
I know I'm living in the dark ages, but I love the sleek look of my narrow-spaced friction-shifted 12-speed bike.

The Fixer,
That's good to hear.
How are the teeth on the Century chainweels holding up? These gracefully fine-cut teeth on the Campy aren't anything like the robust teeth on my vintage Sugino and Sakae rings.
