New crank - use existing bottom bracket?

    Hey - another question. . .

If I buy a compact crank that is Octalink compatible I can then us it on both my Dura-Ace and Ultegra bikes without replacing the bottom bracket - correct? I should just be able to remove the existing cranks and put the new ones on?

    Thanks

Yup, bottom bracket is no problem. You will have to move the front derailler down some to accomodate the smaller chain ring. Thus, it isn't as simple as swapping cranks between bikes.

Dumb question, but do the other bikes have Octalink BBs?
