    wheel building question

is it poswsible to build a wheel with a radial spoke then 2 cros then another radial? so the pattern would be r-r-2-2-r-r-2-2-r-r-2-2-r-r-2-2-r-r-2-2-r-r-2-2-r-r-2-2-r-r-2-2 on a 32 hole hub?

Interesting. I suppose it's possible, if you're using a hub that *can* take radial lacing. Your radial spokes would have to be shorter than your non-radial spokes, of course. What would be your motive, though?

Wouldn't what you described be a mix of radial and 1x?

To get radial and 2x mixed would require a rim/hub with a total number of holes divisible by 6, so a true radial 2x wouldn't work on a 32h rim/hub.
