I have a 2004 Trek 5200, and want to get an FSA compact crankset. I was looking at the Carbon Pro compact, which requires the ISIS type bottom bracket....and with that, I'd go with the FSA Platinum Pro Ti ISIS bottom bracket. Would this setup work on my 5200? Thanks in advance.

Can't think why it wouldn't be ok. You need to get the correct length BB for the new cranks which may be different from your current one depending on what you have now, but other than that the process is really pretty simple.

edit: check compatibility with your current front mech too.

Ok, I bit the bullet....just ordered up an FSA Carbon Pro compact crankset, along with an FSA Platinum Pro Ti bottom bracket....and threw in a Thomson Masterpiece seatpost for good measure.

Man, I hope I get this package before the girlfriend gets home....
