Dura Ace Shifter Installation

Some help please...

I just received my new 7800 shifters and they came with a plastic in-line gear indicator piece for the right shifter cable. It doesn't look like it will be difficult to install, but nowhere in the directions does it indicate how to do this.

Can anyone point me to some installation directions or describe them in a reply?

Thanks very much.

They don't require any calibration or adjustment or anything, the little red doughnut will align itself once you've shifted to the extremes of the cassette (large cog and small cog). Just install it between the shift housing and the shifter and you're all set.

These things are really cool and I wish Campy would engineer something like it for their shifters. Advantage: Shimano
