flat spoke, round hole... (magnet attachment for bike computer)
Suggestions. my new ride (specialized allez elite) has flat spokes. my bike computer magnet is designed for round spokes. the only section of the spoke that is round is just before the nipple? @ the rim
Is there any problem with having the magnet near to the rim? it means mounting the sensor near the bottom bracket (I can put it on the underside of the frame where it wont get in the way.) If anyone has any past experience with this I'd apreciate suggestions.
the only option i can think of is cross drill the magnet so i can put it in on the flat of the spoke, then I can put it near the hub.

Various companies make magnets for aero spokes. There's a couple on this page. https://aebike.com/page.cfm?PageID=30...gory=20&type=T
