My shed has pretty much become a shop. Not as well organized as yours, though.

Alright, you got the girlie calendar, thats good, but where's the 300 watt stereo and beer-packed fridge? Need to get the basics if your going to have a real shop.
Seriously though, a great set up. Not too much, but everything thats necessary. I have tool envy. What kind of wheel truing stand is that?

Look closer, the stereo is right above the hanging tools.

It is a Spin Doctor truing stand. I am very organized in my professional life so I figured why change in my personal life.

man at least you have a garage. i'm an apartment dwelling student so the old top bunk from my ex-roomie has become my bike stand, and the floor below it is my work table. just curious, what kind of work bench do you have? retail/craftsman or home made? i'm thinking about putting a workbench in.

The workbench is a Lowes Hardware Gorilla brand for like $99 which is powder coated steel. You put together and for the $ makes a nice little work area.

Look quick! A certian mod deletes post with a picture like that calender in it.
Still, that's a well done home shop. Mine is coming along, but I'm stuck with a dirt floor for now.

I added a new garage before converting the original one into an art studio for my wife. Unfortunately, setback requirements constrained me to a code-minimum 2-car structure, so I have to use every bit of wall and ceiling rafter space.
Chainrings and cogs, anyone?

Also, mine is in my basment, but I'm not allowed working on the bicycle down there. I have to either wait for my parents to leave or bring up my tools and work in the garage.

Renovating a new house with an unfinished basement. Its all mine. Will be using the kitchen cabinets and counter that were removed from the demo of the existing kitchen. Won't have photos until I have installed it. Really liked the ideas that have been put forward. Am attaching more bike appropriate photos to grace the workbench.

Thanks for the pics. and feedback folks. I thought I was going a little overboard. Now I need another bench to mount my truing stand for sturdiness and a few more calendars or if the girls would just come and hang out at my house it would be nice!

I have one of the homes in central NC with a basement (there are not many). And, it's a daylight basement with a nice wide back door. I'm in the process of converting a corner of it to a shop. It's a real mess right now so I would prefer to hold off on pictures until I'm finished. Where you are neat, I'm not. I arrange my tools on the floor, it save time since I always land up throwing them on the floor anyway.

I like how you have the bike wash under the poster. Is it because the poster makes you feel dirty? ;-)

I keep the rags on the bottom shelf of the bench. Yeah, my tools were in the tool box but I still found myself looking through the bottom of the box for the right tool. I decided that I would be best suited to hang them up for easy access.
Yeah Psimet2001, I do feel dirty having those Stihl girls on my wall........not! My wife was worried if anyone from church ever came to our house and saw it, I told her that she should be worried if I have choir boys on my wall!
