Need help in identifying part

I thought I posted this question an hour ago but it must not have taken.

Anyhow, this part comes from the handlebar of my comfort bike that helps control the angle of the handlebars. It has stripped. What is the name of this part so I can find it online and get a new one ordered. Thanks so much. IMage attached.

It may be a part that you can order from the manufacturer of your stem. Find the brand of the stem and find their contact information. Send the image to them and inform them of your issue. It is doubtful you will find the exact replacement part online. And using a less than perfect replacement not meant for your stem could cause (painful) problems at the worst moment.

looks like the 'washer' that is used to clamp brake cables down at the brake side of the cable. The indentation on the right side prevents the cable from flattening out.

my .02, but I guess I can't be right since it's from your handlebar
