New wheels and old 7 spd shimano cassette?

Just curious what needs to be done to put my current 7 speed cassette on a new wheel. Every wheel I've checked online says 8/9/10 spd compatible, so I'm not sure what happened to 7 speed.

Thanks for any tips.

7-speed went the way of the 6-speed, 5-speed, etc.

You can put a 7-speed cassette on any Shimano 8/9/10-speed freehub body by using a 4.5 mm spacer behind the cassette to take up the slack. The spacers are available from several mail order sources (Bike Tools Etc. for one) and possibly from your LBS.
