Wipperman speed link on Shimano Chain?

I have a 9 speed Shimano chain, can I use the wipperman speed link on this chain?

Yup. Just make sure you pick up the 9 speed one as the 10 is slightly narrower.

So you are saying you can use that link on a regular chain? Thats awesome... I need to do that.

I bought a wipperman chain for my MTB, but have yet to do that for my roadie.

Could not see paying more for shipping than sales, so I ordered two new tire and tubes also.

My chain is still not stretched, so after this week, I can take it off and on without pushing pins out.
