Shimano Altus C10 compatibility

Have a project bike photos and such on this post and it has Shimano Atlus C10 hardware installed.

Need a new rear derailer and was wondering if any shimano 7-speed derailer would work or if I best stick with the Atlus series?

Any Shimano 7, 8, 9 or 10-speed rear derailleur will work (obligitory disclaimer: except pre 9-speed Dura Ace). Match the cage length so if you have a long cage Altus, get a long cage anything else.
