Down tube Shifter Compatibility w/Frame Question
I have a 2006 Lemond Poprad and want to put a downtube shifter on it for the front derailuer. How can I tell if the frame is compatible with down tube shifters?
My goal is to replace my left shifter so I can use a dia comp brake lever and a V-brake on the front wheel. I prefer not to try a travel agent. I prefer the look of a downtube shifter over bar ends.
Thanks.

From this image:
It appears the Lemond Propad has downtube bosses brazed onto the frame. Just remove the cable stop and barrell adjuster to install a downtube shifter.
