Tink noise

I have recently encountered a periodic tinking noise coming from my pedal/front chain ring area. I don't hear anything when adding little to no force through rotation but especially during accenleration the noise is quite annoying. My chain is fine, no sticky sections, and I cannot see any rubbing of chain onto gears or similar. Any thoughts on what this might be?

Loose chainring bolts, loose pedals in their crankarms, loose crankarm bolts, or a loose bottom bracket. Get a torque wrench and start checking! All of those are pretty tight (well, I'm not sure off-hand what chainring bolts are torqued to); it doesn't take a whole lot looseness to start producing noise. The Park Tool site has a section on recommended torque values somewhere.
