Magura Louise brake help needed

Magura Louise brake help needed
I have a 2001 Cannondale Jeckle I recently bought used that has Magura Louise hydraulic disc brakes. No matter how many times I bleed them I can't them to hardly work.
I have a bleeder kit to force the fluid from the bottom up, and even when I can't get any air to come out of the top, they still don't work.
The mechanic from the bicycle store told me he uses baby oil for fluid? Not sure if this is why. He has a similar Cannondale (I've seen it) and says he uses baby oil instead of the Magura Blood fluid.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
