creaking seatpost?

I am having serious problems with the seatpost on my mtb creaking. It creaks whenever I go over the smalled of bumps. It is definately the post. It creaks when you just push down on it.

It is a giant CF post. The frame is aluminum. The saddle is a WTB rocket V. I don't think its typically needed with carbon fiber, but I tried greasing the post and it had no effect at all. I have tried tightening the seatpost clamp and the seat clamp...nothing.

Is there something else I can do, or is it possible that I cracked the post in a crash?
