28" Tubes...

Hey, this has probably been asked before, but...

I'm rolling some Continental 28" x 1 1/4-1 3/4 tires on a track bike that I commute on.

I want to buy some new tubes (presta).

Do I have to find 28" tubes, or can I run 700c?

That size is 700C, a.k.a. 622 mm!

The 622 mm size is more commonly known by the French designation "700C" in the U.S., but in Germany and Northern Europe, they call it "28 inch" usually followed by two fractions.

Another poster kindly referred you to my page on the 635 mm size, but that's not what you have. The 635 tire, or should I say tyres, are always marked "28 x 1 1/2"
