Where the bead meets the sidewall there is a wide gap between the seam where it must be glued to the tire. Would this be caused by some kind of adhesive coming unglued? Would you change it?

If there is an actual gap (i.e. separation) between the bead and the sidewall the tire MUST be discarded.

Most tires have a strip of reinforcing material glued just above the bead to protect the tire from the rim's "hook" so if it's just this strip that's loose you are ok.

Guess must define gap. My gap looks more like a crack between the bead and sidewall. Looks like I'd call it an actual seperation. Not consistant about the tires total circumference. How do we define seperated. Looks like an object the size of a pin head could be shoved into the 'crack.' Not sure how far the crack extends up under the bead.

Last tire I had a problem with said Specialized on the side, they took it back, no questions, I don't know if thats the warranty but I would look into it.
