Miche cassette problem
First off, a shimano cassette fits fine on the hub.
I assembled it just as a Shimano cassette, and the stack is to short, the lock ring will not engage the last cog. The stack fell apart during shipping and I have what i can only assume is an extra part. It is a thin (compared to the cog spacers) metal washer looking thing that is the diameter of the hub. It looks like the plastic thing that fell apart so I didn't look much at it before. The stack is too tall if I put it on first, under the stack. The only other place where I can think that it goes is inbetween the last two cogs. Logically, through elimination this is the only place where it can go, but then the spacing isn't even.
???
Thanks

I'm just going to send it back. The last gear isn't flat (the Shimano is) so the derailure is alot closer to the spokes and the cogs are alot looser on the splines (which isn't saying much, as the shimano isn't exactly a close ift either).
I should have spent more time composing that post, typed it and ran after bing frustrated. I just re-read it, and I thank you for even bothering to respond.
