What causes a clicking sound in your bb?

I can hear an audible click very revolution of a recently installed Truvativ Rouleur crankset with matching exo-bb.

Is this caused by faulty installation or does my bb suck?

Either it's worn out and the bearings are making the noise, or the BB is creaking in the frame. I make sure the BB threads are super insanely clean when I install it, and I slather the threads in grease. That has solved BB creaking for me in the past.
