'05 7500FX wheel replacement
Somehow my rear wheel rim got bent on my Trek 7500FX.
I took the bike into my LBS and they tried truing the wheel but no dice. Apparently the rim is bent too far, and can't be fixed with a simple spoke tension adjustment.
The bike is still ridable, although I'd like to get it fixed. I can feel the wobble as I ride and it makes me nervous. I have a 6 mile commute (12 there and back) every day that I use this bike for.
The LBS is willing to replace the rim with something equivalent for ~$90. That includes new nipples, as the LBS owner cautioned me against reusing the nipples currently on the bike.
Alternatively the LBS offered to order a new wheel for me for $150. The new wheel would be slightly better than the one that I have.
I also thought about buying an after market wheel myself and installing it, but I haven't been able to find any information at all about a recommended wheel for the 7500FX.
Any ideas, suggestions, advice would be greatly appreciated. The LBS said they can't get the parts in for another week and half, which is another reason I was considering ordering a wheel myself.

Option 1: Buying aftermarket wheel. Easy. 700C with a wide double walled rim. If you have the skills to replace wheel I'd go this route. Remember you need to have the special cassette tool. I recommend this because of the cost factor.
Option 2: Rebuild. If your mechanic is skilled you should have a stronger wheel than you started with. your paying for alot of labor you otherwise wouldnt be spending with option 1 or 3
Option 3: LBS replacement for $150. Not alot of labor involved here so your looking at $125 for a wheel plus title tax and tags.....I'll pass.
