Relocating the brifters on my handlebars...confused.

I rotate my handlebars up so that it would be more comfortable on the drops, and now my brifters are too high on the bars.

How do I move them down? I am seriously confused.

I am doing this as I post, so let's see how this works

(1) You'll have to unwrap the bar tape, and rewrap it after moving the brifters
(2) Once you unwrap the bar tape, you'll need to loosen the brifters. There is an allen bolt that is somewhat hidden that allows you loosen the band that holds the brifters. Its location is different for different brifters... on most Shimano models, it is hidden under the edge of the rubber hood, you lift up the side of the hood and there's a bolt
(3) Once you loosen the brifters, move them to the new location, tighten the down tightly, and rewrap the bar tape

You'll find the specifics for loosening / tightening the brifters on pg 4

These are for 105's but the bolt location is similar for all models.
