old SR-X1 crankset vs new Shimano M361 Hybrid crankset

have the choice of either crankset, both have the same size cogs.. wondering which one to go with in terms of quality and reliability.. the SR X-1 needs a bit of rebuilding.. (degreasing, cleaning, maybe some paint)
thoughts??

The FC-361 uses an Octilink (V-2 version) bottom bracket so be sure you can find one of these before buying it. If you can, the shimano crank is by far the better one.
