Well, I had a fresh build snap a nipple this weekend. Thankfully, the head of the nipple hit me in the chest vice an eye.
After loosening ALL the spokes 2 turns and replaced the broken nipple with a fresh one. I had a heck of a time getting everything trued up again, much much much harder than building from fresh
Can someone point me to the proper proceedure to replace a spoke or nip on a wheel that is fully tensioned. WHy was it so much harder, am I just a ditz?
