Ultegra 9 double to triple - change BB?

I am switching my double Ultegra 9 speedždouble (FC-6500) to a triple (FC-6503).

Do I have to change the bottom bracket?

From what I measure, the granny would not touch the frame with my current 109.5mm BB.

Anyone tried it?

Yes, you will need a new BB (118.5mm).

Maybe the granny won't touch, but you also have to figure derailleur travel.

118mm BB-6500s can be had on eBay for relatively little.
