Rear derailer pulley axle size difference?

I'm working on an older (1990 or so) Cannondale with a Suntour Sprint 9000 rear derailer. The pulleys were junk and missing the metal discs on the outsides so I ran over to the LBS to pick up some new ones. When I got back I discovered that the bolts that the Suntour uses for axles is are a much larger diameter than the hole in the new Shimano pulley. I've been searching on line but haven't seen this mentioned anywhere, do I just need to specify that I need pulleys for a Suntour, or are these pretty much obsolete at this point?

Any pointers are greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
