Lawyer lips? Axle retension system?

Hi all,

I'm looking for a picture of a front dropout with "lawyer lips." I tried googling it, nothing bike related came up though.

Here are the ones on my MTB's fork...



And here they are preventing the wheel from dropping out even though the QR is in the open position...

Thanks guys - as someone new to this, I cant see the difference between this and a normal front dropout. Is the beveled area the "lip"?

Yes, the beveled area is the lip that will keep the wheel from falling out when it's loosend.

A fork without the lips (couldnt find a decently sized pic of a non BMX fork).
