    110 BCD Chainring source

I was looking to replace some 110 BCD chainrings on an older Deore triple crank. I can almost buy a complete crank for what I've seen for sale. Anyone know of a reasonable source of chainrings. The inner isn't really worn much. The 36 and 48 are in need of replacement.

Second question, if the cranks originally came with the infamous Biopace do I need to replace all 3 chainrings or just the middle and outer?

Take a look at www.loosescrews.com. (formerly third hand/loose screws.) I've had good luck with them.
They stock Sugino rings that are reasonably priced.

Nashbar offers 110 mm BCD rings in 36,46 and 48T configuration for $20 each. Their web site doesn't show tham as available right now but they are normally a stock item.

+1 on the Nashbar rings (when they're in stock). They often carry a large selection in several different BCD's, and they run price specials often, too. I've bought several of them, they're made by Stronglight, they even come in a Stronglight package-

I second www.loosescrews.com . Fast and competent service. 110 BCD rings up to 55teeth.
    Bikes use brakes to stop.

If your bike has breaks, don't ride it.

all three biopace rings are eliptical so yeah i would change the granny too. if you want durable rings buy salsa rings. the sugino rings are soft and the salsa rings are hardened aluminum and wear like dura ace/xtr rings.

try blood sweat and gears for the salsa rings.

I had checked Nashbar already. That's what prompted me to ask. Seems like they're always out of stock when I need something. My wife says they're just saving me money. LOL
